Wimbledon Ladies’ Round 4 Results
I am not sure just how it happened, but I managed to pick the #2, and the #4 women being upset. The only part I got wrong in those two picks was Tamarine Tanasugarn only needing two sets to down Jelena Jankovic. Agnieszka Radwanska fought hard to win her three set match against #4 Svetlana Kuznetsova. It is a shame she is already mentally beaten by Serena Williams before the match even starts.
Well, well, well, look who is the highest ranked lady left in England. . . Elena Dementieva. I still like her chances to win it all. Hopefully someone can take out one of the Williams sisters so she only has to face one of them instead of both.
My other picks were split, sure the Williams sisters both won, as did Jie Zheng. While Nicole Vaidisova downed Anna Chakvetadze, and Nadia Petrova wore the right outfit and beat Alla Kudryavtseva.
Also, of the six Russians that went into Round 4, just two came out, and they will face-off today.
Also an exciting day on the ladies’ side that has left the field a bit more wide open.
