Unexpected, not really.

Western conference basketball is usually as predictable as a romantic comedy. I personally thought the Lakers would sweep the Suns, especially after games 1 &2 2. But the one thing I love about this game is that, its never over - until its over! Although not many teams in the entire league can compete against the Lakers. The Suns have proven to their fans, they will not be eclipsed.
The Phoenix Suns played amazing (with a capital ZING). Firstly, although Amare was clearly the star tonight; it was awesome watching Steve Nash step up to be the 'playmaker' we expect him to be night in and night out! 17 points and 15 assists, making his team better as the game progressed. Seriously guys, have we forgotten he has been MVP - TWICE! Ok, I think you get the point!
We all know the true hero today was Amare. He was way to much for the Lakers to handle. The Lakers front-court played pretty good, but the 'Amare Factor' was on tonight and it was the best episode yet! 42 points and 11 Rebounds, against one of the best front-courts in the world. I just hope this was a taste of what the Suns will be serving up, because after that performance I am hungry for more.
