Noles Have An Excellent Signing Day.

Florida State had a great showing today finally signing four top ten defensive players in the nation. This was very important for Jimbo Fisher being that this is his first recruiting class since taking over for the great Bobby Bowden. The two biggest pieces were All American CB Lamarcus Joyner and fellow All American ILB Jeff Luc. Both were ranked 2nd in there position on Scout.com College Football Team Recruiting Prospects. Getting Joyner signed was a great addition for the noles since they are losing Patrick Robinson to the NFL.
Luc is one of many new fresh defensive faces that well be joining the seminoles, 16 of the 23 commits are on the defensive side. Mark Stoops has his hands full molding these new recruits into a defense that spreads fear across the ACC . The noles were last in overall defense in the ACC in Mickey Andrews last year as Coordinator at FSU. This should be the main focus going forward as the Fisher has the offense running on all cylinders.
It wasn't all defense as there were some notable additions added on the offensive side of the ball. The biggest difference makers are wide outs Kenny Shaw and DeJoshua Johnson, both should be able to make the offense even more dangerous. I'm more interested in what impact RB Debrale Smile will have for the noles. The seminoles were last in rushing in the ACC which i believe made the offense one dimensional and causing Christian Ponder to force alot of passes through the year. If they want to be an elite team again they need to get the running game started.
Overall i'm extremely excited for this upcoming season, I believe this will be the start of a great relationship between seminole nation and coach Fisher. I strongly believe that he can get the football program where it needs to be and bring a national championship back tallahassee. If things go as i think they will I believe he will have the same effect that Urban Meyer is having at Florida. I think he will be one of the best head coaches not only n the ACC but in college football in general.
