Its All In The Wrist.

Tim Tebow

For the past couple of weeks Florida Quarterback Tim Tebow has been refining his ball handling skills and giving himself a complete makeover before his Pro Day in March. Tebow will not be throwing a football during this weeks NFL Combine workouts.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter he has been working on a 3 and 5 step step drops that have improved his passing ability and ball security. A far cry from the spread offense he played in Florida .

If he has become a better NFL quality QB then the future looks pretty bright for Tebow, currently he was looking at maybe being a third round pick but if he can impress some folks in March then he may bring up his stock to being a first rounder.

Bulls On Parade

February 18th 2010 03:37

The South Florida Bulls have gone from the little team that could to top 25 team in just over a decade. Its not only the big three in Florida I believe its now the big four. in 2010 they will have alot to over come under new head coach Skip Holtz.

For the first time ever the bulls march into gainesville to take on the gators. Good news is theres no more Tim Tebow lurking around , Bad news is that Urban and crew have a stud called John Brantley which I think is a better QB than Tebow.

They will play the U down in Miami which Im sure they want sweet revenge after the canes pounded them in Tampa this past year.

They also have to take care of business in conference as they play six big east games in a row three of which are on the road at West Virginia, at Cincy, and at Louisville. If they are gonna make a stand and the show the nation they are not a joke they need to sweep those games.

i think they Bulls have a chance of being a top 15 team at the end of next year. With a top fifty 2010 recruiting class the future looks bright in sunny Tampa Florida.

Super Bowl Notes

February 8th 2010 22:57
Reggie Bush

- First I would like to congratulate my home town team for finally winning its first super bowl!

- After missing out in the Giants Super Bowl and being released like garbage I was glad to see Jeremy Shockey have himself a great game.

- I was amazed how well the Colts receivers did that were not named Reggie Wayne. Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie combined for 132 yards and 11 catches. Not bad for a rookie and a 2 year man in the Super Bowl.

- After all the negative headlines congrats to Greg Williams and his defense for stopping the Indy high powered offense.

- Overall it was a great season for rookie head coach Jim Caldwell. He's gonna have a great tenure in indy and many more Super Bowls to come.

- Congrats to Sean Peyton. Better Known for sleeping on coaches watching film and one of the brightest offensive minds in the game . He helped turn around a team that had never gotten to a Super Bowl.

- Poor Peyton Manning as his record in the post season drops to 9 -9.

- I hope Reggie Bush enjoyed his time in the big easy because he wont be there next year.

- i can't believe how well Dwight Freeney played the first half. He played with the heart of a champion.

- Congrats to the MVP Drew Brees. he truly deserves this after all the up and downs he's had in career. How funny that he wins his Super Bowl in the city that passed him by.

2010 NFL Mock Draft Picks 11-20

February 4th 2010 23:07
Dez Bryant

Ok lets get right to it. Here are the next ten picks.

11. Jacksonville Jaguars - Dez Bryant WR Oklahoma State - So im not giving into this whole Tim Tebow is gonna safe the Jags. Sorry but he isn't that good folks. On the other hand, Dez Bryant is the wide out that can make game changing plays. He is the deep threat that the so badly need. He should give the Jags a one two punch that should give the AFC something to worry about.

12. Miami Dolphins - Taylor Mays S USC - I get that the Dolphins need a wide out BUT!! You can't pass on a player like Taylor Mays. He made life impossible for Pac-10 offenses and he's transition to the NFL will be flawless. This is what the team needs, a defense that matches up with its offense which is looking better and better every year especially Chad Henne.

13. San Francisco 49ers - Anthony Davis OT Rutgers - He may be young but his 6' 6 315 pound frame will more than make up for his age. He's one of those college kids with an NFL body and should make the change to the pros very easy. He should help the 49ers pass protection which was one of the worst in the NFL.

14. Denver Broncos - Carlos Dunlap DE Florida - Back again in the first round are the Broncos. This time they go with Dunlap to make that scary Denver D line that much younger and faster. Alot is riding on the defense to maintain its ways now that Mike Nolan has left town.

15. NewYork Giants - Brandon Graham OLB Michigan - Graham is the one of the top linebackers in draft and is going make a strong impact in the NFL. He led the Wolverines in sacks or tackles every year. The Giants need some youth in an aging linebacking crew.

16. Tennessee Titans - Golden Tate WR Notre Dame - im really not sold on this pick but the Titans need some help at wideout. Tate led the Irish an all receiving categories and is one of those to go guys they need. He has the ability to be one of the top receivers in the NFL.

17. San Francisco 49ers - Jonathan Dwyer RB Georgia Tech - Dwyer was one of the scariest running backs in the ACC. Combined with Frank Gore the combo should be deadly.

18. Pittsburgh Steelers - Mike Iupati OG Idaho - Whats new in the new in the steel city, they need to keep Big Ben safe. Iugati was one of the best football players to come out of Idaho. He did have some injury issues but he should be able to be a force in the NFL.

19. Atlanta Falcons - Earl Thomas S Texas - Thomas has made a great change to safety. Though only a red shirt sophomore hes ability speaks for itself.

20. Houston Texans - Jahvid Best RB California - The Texans need a running back that can take the attention off the passing game. Best ran for over 4,000 yards in his time for Cal and had 35 TD's to go with it. He's a legitimate threat that they need.

Eric Berry

Its my second favorite time of the year (first being opening day in baseball for those who care about what it was), which is getting ready for the NFL draft! This is the time of year where I dig deep for my inner Mel Kiper to give my best insight on what I think is gonna happen in New York in April. Now this is using up to date Scouts Inc information on every one thats available now. Also I had to break it up into a couple parts because its so dang ole long. Let us Begin

Noles Have An Excellent Signing Day.

February 3rd 2010 21:26
File photo by Scott Seighman Lamarcus Joyner has committed to Florida State.

Florida State had a great showing today finally signing four top ten defensive players in the nation. This was very important for Jimbo Fisher being that this is his first recruiting class since taking over for the great Bobby Bowden. The two biggest pieces were All American CB Lamarcus Joyner and fellow All American ILB Jeff Luc. Both were ranked 2nd in there position on Scout.com College Football Team Recruiting Prospects. Getting Joyner signed was a great addition for the noles since they are losing Patrick Robinson to the NFL

Nebraska Looking Good

September 16th 2009 21:06

Life was good in the 90’s for the husker nation, between 1993-97 seasons they went 60-3 and took home 3 national championships in 4 years. Since then things have been very inconsistent. Since 2000 they have posted a 74-40 record and have been in and out of the AP poll

Do or Die In The Big House

September 8th 2009 23:44
Here’s a story of two football programs that have there coaches on the hot seat. Charlie Weis leads his number 18 Fighting Irish into the big house to take on Michigan.

Weis seems to finally have things going at Notre Dame after his impressive week 1 victory and showcasing his quarterback Jimmy Clausen. This will be the first road test in a season that may lead to a BCS bowl or championship. Honestly the only obstacle in the Irish’s way are the Trojans

New Era In Green Bay

September 3rd 2009 17:20
Packers
It was only two years ago that the Green Bay Packers were one game away from the Super Bowl. What followed was nothing but a total headache. Once the Brett Favre soup opera had passed the spotlight was on one Aaron Rodgers.

All he did was throw for 4038 yards and 28 touchdowns. Not bad for someone taking over for a legend. He led the eighth best offense in the league. He has returning weapons Donald driver, Greg Jennings, and Donald Lee. From how they have played in the Preseason they should pick up right where they left off. Now the defensive side is a different story

My NFL Championship Week Preview

Well the playoffs have been a bit different this season thus far. Both of the lowest seeded teams in each conference have advanced to the championship round and are just one win away from making the Super Bowl. The two teams they are facing are only a 4th seed, and a 2nd seed.
