Day 3 (or 1C) underway with notable names

Sorry about the lack of updates from the World Series of Poker last night. Something came up and it became difficult to pay attention to the happenings at the Rio.
In fact it will be hard to pay attention today as well, but I should be able to give a day’s end recap.
Really yesterday’s play looked like it slowed down and the leader Ben finished the day with 177,500, quite a ways behind the first day’s leader, but still a nice amount. I think a lot of this has to do with the quality of play on Friday.
615 of the 1,158 players survived. One of the ones we thought might win, Kenny Tran, wasn’t lucky enough to survive, neither was Jamie Gold nor Greg Raymer.
It looks like many of the pros are here today for day 1C. Clonie Gowen and Sammy Farha have taken early leads. Joe Hachem has built a little.
Marcel Luske is here singing and smiling.
Some other notables among the crowd: TJ Cloutier, Mike Sexton, John Juanda, Sean Sheikhan and Mike Matusow
Larry Lynt and Huck Seed are already gone.
I’ll try to give an update when I can, but again, it’ probably won’t be until after the round today is complete.
